There's a classic engineering problem being reconsidered, with new research data and so on: bra construction.
For readers east of the Atlantic, a question: is "squared paper" usually how paper with lots of horizontal and vertical lines is referred to? (Over here, I'd call it graph paper or grid paper.)
And in anticipation of tomorrow, happy Guy Fawkes' Day.
I've been checking printer proof this week. I've caught a lot of things that will get fixed, which is satisfying, but it's a stultifying task.
Shreve, Crump, and Low (jewelers since 1786 or so) are moving soon: all the windows at the current location (where little wooden men are packing valuables) and the new location (construction not quite finished yet) have been enhanced with Aerosmith quotes.
Heard last night: the owner of Taam China will be opening another restaurant, in Newton, possibly as soon as next month.
