Note to self: laundry

Now that there's a folding drying rack in the house, consider air drying the laundry. Yes, it's environmentally better than using a dryer, but the real plus is that it's impossible to forget that there's a load of clean laundry finished in the basement if it's festooning the apartment instead.

While this is true, I can attest that it is nonetheless possible to leave laundry festooning air drying racks even when said rack is highly visible and in fact even in the way.

(though if you leave it long enough, it does tend to magically become emptier over time as the clothes gradually get removed to be worn)

True! I only leave my drying rack in front of my dresser, not in, say, the living room or an upstairs hall :)
