Baked good remedy?

I made a batch of zucchini bread this morning (well, cake, if you go by the shape of the pan, but whatever). And it came out pretty well for texture and all... but there's a noticeable bitterness from the baking powder that's not so nice. Does anyone know a way to mask it? Would frosting or something help? Or should I ditch the 5 cakes?

I have to stock up on eggs, then. I wonder if chocolate or molasses/honey/maple would be a better bitter distractor?
